Denise Bonapace is a designer and artist who is the relationship between body and dress: fashion, for her, is the design language applied to the body and to the person understood as a set of physicality, thoughts, impulses and desires. The design assumptions that include his production see the dress as an object, and the object as a dress, which speaks to the world. A strong communication, given by a union: that of the person with the dress, which tells what to do, together.
Around the concept of “clothing and living”, he has made several exhibitions on display in various museum spaces, including the Milan Triennale, the Sforzesco Castle, the Stazione Leopolda in Florence, the Palazzo Reale in Milan, the Gam di Genoa and several national and international galleries.
She graduated in Industrial Design at the Polytechnic of Milan. Since 2006 he has been teaching knitwear design at the Polytechnic (2006-2015), Fashion Institute of Technology (2015-2019) and NABA in Milan (2006-2019).

Denise Bonapace è una progettista e artista che indaga il rapporto tra corpo e abito: la moda, per lei, è linguaggio del progetto applicato al corpo e alla persona intesa come insieme di fisicità, pensieri, impulsi e desideri.
I presupposti progettuali che caratterizzano la sua produzione vedono l’abito come oggetto, e l’oggetto come abito, che parla al mondo. Una comunicazione forte, data da un’unione: quella della persona con l’abito, che raccontano quello che possono fare, insieme.
Attorno al concetto dell’ ”abito e dell’abitare”, ha realizzato diverse installazioni esposte in diversi spazi museali, tra i quali la Triennale di Milano, Castello Sforzesco, Stazione Leopolda di Firenze, Palazzo Reale di Milano, Gam di Genova e diverse gallerie nazionali e internazionali.
Si è laureata in Disegno Industriale presso il Politecnico di Milano. Dal 2006 è docente di progettazione della maglieria presso Politecnico (2006-2015), Fashion Institute of Technology (2015-2019) e NABA a Milano (2006-2019).
